Performing comes naturally to Ronny, the words; exciting, energetic, dedicated and loyal are some of the words that are used to describe this very talented artiste.

Ronny's experience as a Lead Vocalist is very wide, having performed  with other bands in the New York area. He was then approached by Technic one of the leading soca bands in the NewYork area; and in 2006  joined them as one of their lead vocalists.

As the leader of the band Andy's musical arrangements, wicked bass playing and vocals, makes him the multi-talented creative force, for the foundation that the band needs to keep audiences thrilled wherever they perform.

Andy is definitely no stranger to the stage taking in the crowd and making sure the rest of the band is on point. Although when the music starts he is a completely different person with that bass guitar in his hand.

A shy, behind-the-scenes kinda guy offstage, which has people puzzled how he transforms the moment the bright lights and the music starts when the band hits the stage.

He gives the rhythm section a solid foundation, with his distinctive keyboard playing, to keep the soca movin' and the reggae groovin' and the ballads flowing. Also when it comes down to singing his harmonic sounds can move a crowd during the Reggae/Dub selections.

John came into the band in 1990, but he received his musical start in a unique way, he started to watch his older brother play the piano, and it just took him. It was then that he made up his mind, he wanted to know how to do that, and he studied music and learned his craft.

John who was born under the zodiac sign of Capricorn, has a date of birth of  January 18, 1974. Some of his outside interest besides music are Basketball, meditation, and listening to music. His personal musical I-pod collection usually consist of some Bob Marley, Luciano, Beres, Chicago, and Al Green just to name a few. He also likes to have a good time, which for him will include good stimulating conversation.

John has also had the pleasure of working on projects with other talented artist, such as Shabba, Jr. Reed, Luciano, Nardo Ranks, Eek A Mouse, and Terry Ganzie.

Jean, or "Sticky" as he is known; his versatility on the tenor sax is unsurpassed. He adds hs signature style to any selection that the band plays.

His wide and varied repertoire contains everything from soca and reggae to ballads and R & B, which makes his music appeal to audiences of all ages and musical preferences.

Mesmerizing and energetic are just a few words to describe Kevyn. Whether he is singing or wukking his waist, he certainly keeps the crowds attention with his talent. Born in New York and moving to Barbados as an infant, he grew up listening to the sounds of the Iland's sweet soca. At age 16 he migrated back to New York with his mother ,the well known and talented Judith Allman.

Kevyn is a unique singer with a smoothe voice. He brings an engaging sound to any type of music. He can blend in as a back-up singer or shine bright as a soloist. He finds his true stage presence though when performing to get the crowd moving.

Kevyn , being a singer and song writer is also now using all of his talents to jump into the area of becoming an upcoming producer.

When it comes to drummers Kerwin is definitely one of the best on the Soca secne in the New York area. When he starts to play its hard to stop your feet from moving whenever you hear his intoxicating drum beats and hypnotic percussion rhythms.

His laid-back style of Soca rhythms is influential in bringing about a blend of Soca and reggae dance music.

Ronald delivers his art with such a simple usage of notes. He has an impressive control of the instrument. Weather its Soca, Spouge or Reggae every note he plays sounds exactly the way he wants it to.

His playing is like a dialogue. He plays an array of musical sentences that altogether make a well pleasing conversation for the crowd to listen to.

On the personal side he is a quiet man, but lets his guitar do the talking for him.

Lee Grant but known all over as Grant Lee, comes to give the band the power of classic ballads.

The power comes from within and the music is from the soul. When Lee Grant sings the crowds do gather to get on the dance floor for a little bit of slow dancing.

His performance of mostly ballads adds yet another dimension to the bands versatility.

Being the second member of the horn section, his trumpet playing provides the backbone to the brass section and his stage antics enhances the band's performance.

Adrian, being one of the band's core members, came into the band in 1986, loved the fun and excitement, and also made life long friends with the other band members. He states that his most memorable band experience was Technic Band's first album release party at Albany Manor.

Adrian who was born under the zodiac sign of Sagitarius, has a date of birth of December 1, 1967. His outside interest besides music are fishing, gardening, do-it-yourself projects and generally just being a pain in the a**, in which he was given the nickname Lucifer, because someone stated he was wicked cause he had the Devil in him.

The charismatic charm of Shernell Clarke rounds out the vocal section when she hits the stage. Shernell has always loved to sing, as a young girl in Barbados she voiced her talents by singing in her church. Later on while growing up she sang with many others in Richard Stout Teen Talent. Her love for music set her off in a direction that sent her cruising to new heights by singing on many cruise ships.

Upon her arrival in New York it was her quest to get her singing career up and running again, which she did teaming up with Ronny Kirton in the band Hotline, the stage soon started to heat up again.

In 2009 lightning did strike again, Shernell came to do a few shows with Technic, her lovley voice and energetic stage performance took the crowds by storm. Staying on with Technic she has what it takes to get the party started and going all night.

RON

Even though all the members of the band are accomplished musicians, Ron engineers the mix to put it all together to make the band sound good, he's responsible for getting every subtle tweak of voice and instrument into your ears in a balanced way.

Every venue is different -- from the cozy club to a medium-sized concert hall to an outdoor arena -- and each brings its own challenges to an audio engineering. But it's Ron's job to tame the acoustics and bring the musicians efforts home to the audience.

TRISTAN / STEVE / CURWIN

Systems engineers / roadie is a highly trained and specialized technician providing services for the band (yeah, right!). These services can include sound reinforcement, lighting and stage design, band equipment, rigging, security, and transportation.

When it comes to behind the scenes  Curwin & Steve make up one of the most critical parts of the band, the setup and the tear down. Getting there before the band members to setup the venue stage and system, and staying there long after the venue is done and everyone is gone; to breakdown, transport and store the equipment.
